We selected Chettinad due to its proximity to our hotel (Radisson Blu Edwardian Bloomsbury Street) and the great reviews it has been receiving.

Avial - concoction of fresh vegetables in a thick gravy

Rasmalai - cottage cheese dumplings in an excellent cardamom flavored milk
Kesari bhath - semolina pudding cooked with butter and raisins and cashews
Chettinad is a small casual restaurant with a fairly-priced menu. Service was very good, with a friendly owner/manager and the food was excellent. Highly recommended!
