Brunch at Le Dolma

We were around Place Flagey on a Saturday at lunch time, so decided to check out Le Dolma, one of the few places in Brussels offering an all-you-can-eat vegetarian buffet.

A bar counter next to the entrance, where some regulars were eating while watching TV.

Here's the main dining room

The buffet: soup and cold items on the right, warm items on the left

Soup and salads (potage du jour et assortiment de crudités)

Warm  items (Chauffe-plats et Bain-Marie) below. Dessert is in the white fridge. They offer several types of pies and cakes (one slice per customer). Unfortunately they had run out of cheesecake that day :-(

The decoration is quite basic, with some Tibetan and Indian artifacts. His Holiness was serenely smiling from behind the cash till.

Le Dolma offers lunch at a fair value: €18 including dessert, keeping in mind that it's all-you-can-eat. My only gripe would be the few protein options: they had chick peas in the cold buffet and some sort of falafel (not very tasty, by the way) among the hot section. It might be worth checking the menu on their web site beforehand, so that one can pick the day when the menu seems to be most interesting.

Le Dolma also has an organic store next door to the restaurant where one can find an interesting array of groceries and cosmetics.
